become a better surfer
New board 2 years ago

I got a new board a couple of weeks ago and have used it twice. Still trying to get the feel for it. At least now, I have no excuse for not going surfing more and therefore becoming a better surfer. :) I may not be very good, but I love trying and it is one of the most stress-relieving activities I can find. I will get better!

Go camping more often.
Blue Springs 2 years ago

Went camping over the July 4th weekend. Great fun but came back covered with “DeBary lice.” Won’t go back there again, but looking forward to my next camping trip wherever that may be.

visit Cancun
Cancun 2 years ago

Just got back this last week. Cancun is a wonderful place to visit. The water is crystal blue; there are a plethora of things to do and sites to see. A week should give you plenty of time to explore Cancun and the surrounding areas. Rent a car so you can get off the usual tourist paths and create your own personalized adventure. Don’t miss the Tulum ruins and the surrounding cenotes about two hours south of Cancun. These underground cave systems are a great place to cool off after a hot day at the beach or the ruins. I recommend Cenote Azul (popular with locals), across from Hotel Barcelo on the main drag to Tulum. Hopefully going again in October!!!
