At last count, and according to the list at twofifty.org, I’m at 227 out of 250. Most of those are in the last 75 or so of the list (where there is a deal of volatility).

I played club cricket for two seasons when I was 9, but quit to play tennis fixtures instead. I was pretty average, but I had fun, and ever since have been a little sad that I never played a team sport to any real extent. Also, since then, I’ve spent rather too much time beating a ball against a wall, playing corridor cricket and playing in the nets, and I think I could probably handle myself if I could find some sort of 6th grade club to join.
A few years ago I made a bunch of shorts with some of my friends. We made amazing advances in techniques within a very short period of time, and I think by the end we were ready to make something “real”, but we just never had the ideas. In my spare time I fancy myself as a writer, and try to tell myself that all I lack is an idea. Writing a full-length piece like a novel is probably pie-in-the-sky for someone with my lack of work ethic, but I’d like to think that the countless hours spent in a cinema over the last 8 years or so would make a short film more feasible.
