Sure it’s VERY hard, but you learn so much about yourself and how you deal with people. I’ve seen it ruin a lot of relationships, but it also makes the ones worth keeping stronger! It prepares you for marriage and living with a spouse. You learn about the importance of communication and compromise. You learn what pisses you off. (Dirty dishes) You learn what pisses other people off.

While I recommend everyone should live with a roommate once in their life – you learn so much about yourself – living by yourself is so much easier! Oy vey! Living by yourself, you can also learn a lot about yourself. It forces you to be more social because you don’t have an ever-present roommate, sibling or parent to rely on for human contact. You get to be as clean or as dirty as you want. You can walk around naked.

While I ultimately enjoyed the book because of the captivating mystery, I felt the writing was geared towards idiots. I haven’t read his other books, but his writing felt amateurish and definitely left much to be desired. You know what they say about NYT bestsellers…
