My Chinese learning process is going now where. I should get more focused in this. Since now sometimes I learn lot of new words but after some intense studying period I will have a long break. And forget half of the words. Decided to participate to a local Chinese language evening school as soon as it will start again. I think it’s the only way to stay motivated and balanced, since when you are studying alone you easily skip a day or two (..or month or two in my case).

I had it all just on front of me, until I got some bad news and lost the change (for now). But my luck didn’t abandon me totally since I got a new change. Though it’s a lot longer way, having this as a goal gives you powers.
Though first it felt like a total kick down, eventually I think maybe it was meant to go like this, although I’m still not happy about it. Anyways this will stay on hold for some time (couple of years) for now. And after that I can make a decision.

Should probably remeasure my goals and make new goals to aim to. Now it seems my “things” are not so up to date and doesn’t feel so reachable. The problem for this seems to be time.

Moving to China in about one week. Seems like I got 3 goals at once. Find a new job, Move to China and Find a life together with my girlfriend. Suprisingly I feel more worried than excited, probably because of the short time. Last week in Finland will be very busy preparing all the stuffs, packing and getting a visa, but I will try to eat “Ruisleipä” (rye bread) as much as possible.

Seems like my goals are not relevant anymore or I just have lost the balance in my life. Changes happens all the time, staying on track of your life is essential for life balance. If life is running faster than you you should stop to think for a while and see where are you.

In fact I have done 3000 before but I want to make a new record. Last time I got 2800 in army. Now I have started to practice for new cooper test by taking a small jogging on mornings before work. I will challenge myself to run +3000 in cooper test on this summer.

It’s strange how things just somehow tends to bind together always.
I lost my job few months ago, thanks to financial crisis, but it opened new chances for me. I was able to focus on finishing my studies and face a chance of starting my own business. I met a great opportunity to be part of an interesting project which may launch a new company to further develop the service.
Lost can be a chance also!
How ever this is not done yet since we are still investigating the possibility of starting an own company.

Have got a little success in this thanks to some great finnish-chinese books I have found but still the biggest problem (finding time for the learning) seems to be the biggest bridge to cross. But as said: “slowly the rocks grows”..

Lately I have noticed my focus has been rambling around a lot. Always feeling busy. “Cannot do that ‘cause not enought time” or forget to do things. At this point I also notice I haven’t kept my daily appointments with myself lately as well.
Keeping daily appointments with yourself not only gives you a possibility to work harder and to achieve more things in a shorter time. But it also gives you a possibility to control your time so that you will get more free time. (This is important for me atleast). By staying on track of your time/tasks you’ll see what you need to do and thus you also have a control from your time. And therefore also a chance to have more “free time”.
Ask yourself: Do you have a control from your time?

Fighting against time to win more time is a battle you cannot win. We have lot of things to be done, but do we really always have to do all those things to get to the final goal. If you really start to think about all the things you are doing now, are they really the most urgent must do things, I think you could drop 2/3 out from your to do list. Sometimes the best way to win more time (/get more things done) is just to do less. Focus more + do less = accomplish more.

Got a mandate, mentor and a timetable for the seminars! So everything is ready for the thesis. If everything goes as planned I’ll graduate over ½ year before the scheduled time! Ye!

Looks like things are piling up to me again, need to make a new roadmap for my time to keep on track of it. Some mind drawing, documentation and thinking is required!

Books received

Got the books. It’s so much easier just to grab a book than listening those recorded voices over Internet. Now it’s only about the time.

Went to the city library to take my first step on finishing this goal. “Working on contract worldwide” is the book, though not the kind of book I was looking for but quite interesting though.

Life is about doing things you love. Work enables you to do those things. But work should not stop you from doing the things you love.

I have 3 different goals but actually they walk hand to hand.
Balancing your life means you are keeping in track your time and thus feel more happier ‘cause your life is more stable… Plus! Keeping daily appointments with myself helps me to keep those things together.

Making a schedule for your daily routines may sound quite quirky but it sure is worth of doing. This helps you to achieve your goals and making the life more meaningful and you will use your time more wisely. Once you know what you should do you can also follow your progress better.

Looks like all the good ends at the time. So does my summer holiday.. Balancing my life back to the school life starts by getting back to my sleeping routines, morning meetings with myself and hopefully by reducing the amount of coffee.
