learn morse code
Made flash cards of the morse code alphabet.

Drilling myself.

eat new vegetarian dishes
I ate some spicy mushroom soup at Teak.

It had whole mushrooms, tomatoes, chili pepper oil, lime leaves and lemon grass in it. The soup was light, yet hearty.

Limit my worldly possessions to 500 items.
I don't really know how to go about completing this goal.

I downsized a lot when I moved back in with my parents. I started to make a list of what was in my room a few weeks ago. If I continue with this goal I will probably find I value what I have more and it will to get easy to replace what I don’t use or need with what I do use and need.

build a house
I'm playing with a floor plan.

I checked out a book at the library on Feng Shui. I’m having a little trouble applying the art and science of Feng Shui to my drawing.

Candle Making

I tended a fire for candle making about a month ago. Not much to candle making, really. All you need is an open fire, two sizes of metal coffee cans(fill the large one with water, the small one with wax, some paraffin wax (cheapest), peeled crayons for color and a glove for safety.

learn to paddle a canoe
All I have to do is read about it.

Borrowed the boy scout merit badge book on canoeing from the library today.

Acquire heirloom varieties of edible plants and learn to save the seeds
I've aquired the seeds and most are planted

Seed Saver’s Exchange sells only heirloom seeds and I bought a bunch from them.

Green My Clean
Always looking for new products, recipes, and money saving techiques....

I started this task about a year and a half ago and I am really good at finding natural, eviromentally friendly alternatives to mainstream hygiene and housekeeping products. Highlights: Discovering the Diva Cup and Lunapads, receiving the book, Better Basics for the Home, scenting homemade products with aura cacia essential oils, learning to do a super shiny polish free manicure, making my own laundry powder and fabric softener, washing my hair with Seventh Generation Free and Clear Dish Liquid, cleaning the bathroom super quick with my foaming toilet bowl cleaner, and discovering Dr. Bronner’s soap—It won my heart.
