Now that I know the basics of PHP, I’d like to play with RoR a little more.

Learning any language is a process. I’ll consider this task complete because I am no longer actively looking to learn. I feel like I know the basics, and I know where to go to add wrinkles and learn more.

I’m taking a course at UK on php and MySQL. It is awesome.

I was too late to submit an idea again.

Room is painted, crib assembled, room set up…

We move in one week. We are 1/4 packed, but we have lots to do.

Today we close on our first house. I wasn’t sure a few months ago if it was the right financial decision, but the more I went down the path of purchasing, the more I felt like it was a no-brainer. I should have started looking as soon as we were married.

We had our first glimpse of our baby boy this week.

We settled on a house and our offer was accepted. Now we await inspection and closing!

The question is, is there value in buying a house? I think in the end it will be worth it, but it could be a bad decision.

I always plan, but I didn’t complete the planning to the extent I had hoped. I still want to think about planning a Blooms Taxonomy poster for the classroom.

I’ve been drinking more water because I get regular reminders from 43 things.

I met with the dean of the ISD program, and I have signed up for the GRE test. I have to get it all in by Dec 4!

We have not had the baby yet, but I’ve met my goal to have a baby.
