Today I grilled salmon with a curried peach sauce and I actually liked the salmon. Maybe I’ll be able to eat fish after all. The sauce was incredible! Peach, honey, and curry powder simmered together for 10 minutes. I can definitely use it for chicken too.

So far I love my new cookbook; it’ll definitely help me expand my cooking abilities, and I like that it explains why to do certain things. I’m trying to broaden my taste in food. For example, I’ve always stayed away from fish and eggs that I can see, but on Friday my roommate made me scrambled eggs that were really good. So now I’m going to try to learn to make new dishes and see if I like them. The experiment begins with this week’s meals..
