I did this a lot when I was a kid. I was really into the baby-sitters club books, haha, and I used to read them non-stop until they were done. These days I enjoy reading books over a long period of time, usually 3-6 months.

I am a third of the way done with my goal. I’ve lost 20 pounds and have 40 more to go. It’s not easy but sooooo worth it. I spend 45 minutes walking/jogging on the treadmill 4 days a week and try to eat around 1,200 calories a day. I don’t freak out if I splurge at a meal and I still drink starbucks caramel machiatos. I even eat a piece of chocolate each day. For me, it’s just been a matter of eating smaller portions that have more protein, eating healthy snacks (like apples with some peanut butter or a small thing of cottage cheese), keeping up with my exercising (including taking the stairs instead of the elevator, parking further away from entrances, etc), and keeping a freakin positive attitude. I try to remember that each day is a new beginning and not to beat myself up. Watching the number on the scale get smaller and feeling my clothes get looser is soooooo motivating. You can do it!!
