This is my first new recipe in my next line up of 10 new dishes! I got the recipe from a bed and breakfast website and couldn’t resist! I don’t like to drink coffee, but I like food and some other drinks that have a coffee flavor…oh and I love coffee ice cream! These came out true to their name…chewy and good, and you can freeze them and eat them right out of the freezer if you want. Great with a cup of tea!

How I did it: I went to a video store that was going out of business and bought about 20 movies on the cheap!! I have watched half of them and I love that I own them and can watch them over and over again! I have also made a point to go to the movies at least once a month not just at mainstream theaters but at the Art Museum and other places that show films. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I watched cooking shows on TV and followed some of the recipes I liked; read magazines and got some great recipes; got creative and made up my own recipe! Read how I did it…
How I did it: Went to Beijing, Xi'an, Shanghai. Very strange land in some ways...lots of smog, lots of people. People were VERY kind...genuinely kind. Food...not so good to me. Sites are amazing, interesting. I cried on the Great Wall...very emotional...you realize you are so far from home! Met people there who had never met a foreigner. HIGHLY recommend riding BUSINESS CLASS if you can on the airplane...got an upgrade from coach to business class for … Read how I did it…

By the way…the slow roasted garlic mojo turned out GREAT! My entire house smells like garlic…in a good way…!
So this new dish I am cooking will complete my goal of learning to cook 10 new dishes! Sad…I’ll probably set another similar goal because it keeps me cooking and experimenting. Tonight I am cooking a dish I saw on the Rick Bayless show this morning on PBS called “Slow Roasted Garlic Mojo”! Tons of garlic, olive oil, some salt, lime…slow cooked and then you use it with mushroom dishes or fish or even drizzled over popcorn! Fun…I’ll let you know how it turns out.
