it was delicious! such a nice saturday night activity when it is way too cold outside. after getting over my fear of not proofing the yeast properly, it was a joy. and so yummy.
after working for this place for 2.5 years (in two different tenures) and way too many inappropriate comments from my boss, the straw that broke the camel’s back was when I stayed at my boss’s home with his sick family while he went on the business trip I was supposed to accompany him on. the fact that he cannot acknowledge that this was wrong (I got sick from being about his sick children, for god’s sakes!) and that he disrespected me by making me feel like this was a part of my job was enough for me to take the plunge and submit my letter of resignation.
there are too many people in positions of power that are bad leaders. I am not going to massage his ego anymore. I’m done with him. only two weeks to go!
