I will do this more when I don’t live with other people and won’t get curious looks for being a straight male who knits. It isn’t that puzzling really. If a member of the gender you prefer offers to teach you an activity that involves lots of sitting in laps and holding of hands and careful close physical contact, you say yes. Then you go out and buy way too much yarn. So I need to knit and donate some scarves quick before the winter’s over.

It’s white. It’s also new. It’s after midnight, but pretending I might accomplish something is worth fighting sleep for at least six more minutes.
The problem is that I’m indecisive about design and that I’m notoriously poor in my judgement with color. I need to pick colors. I need things that compliment those colors. Then I need to go paint the thing before I move in in a few weeks.
