not that quiet and comfortable are bad—I just don’t know how I became so “complacent”. My old friends barely recognize me anymore. I’ve got pleasant down to an art form-i’ve forgotten how to speak my mind because I’m too afraid of conflict. then when I do, I get all mushy and sensitive and wear my heart on my sleeve. pathetic, really.
