I dont know why they made this day, but my sister told me that in their college, they celebrate it as SAD (Singlez Awareness Day). Yeah thats funny, but very true. Today is a valentines day when guys and girls here would be roaming outside, having dinner, and then kiss each other. And I am sitting here, writing an entry on 43things. In a way its true, this day makes you aware of how lucky u r if u have someone special, and if u r single, then it makes u aware about what 1 is missing out on. Though people say that love cant be found and rather it comes to you, I know that love and that someone special has not come to me. So what I have decided to do now is that I am going to get out and actively find that someone who can be special in my life. Lets see how it goes.

How I did it: Just got in touch with the organiser well in time, and since there was no registration fees, it was quite easy for me to get registered. The speakers were amazing, and it literally gave me an insight into the workings of the Indian research community. The second day I was thinking whether I really need to go, but I am glad that I went. I got in touch with some of the scientists who guided me regarding applying for project positions and in… Read how I did it…
How I did it: joined a red hat certification course. spent a lot of time playing around with it. tried out various other distros like fedora and ubuntu. looked around for help available on the internet as well. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Just a thorough research on the internet regarding which course would be good for me. After reading a lot, I zeroed in on redhat training. Things have been goin fine after I started. I always knew I have got a natural aptitude for programming. Hope I finish the certification exam. Amen. Read how I did it…

They say “patience is the art of hoping”, and the way my jobhunt is going on, I am getting pretty good in that art. Its been almost 6 months now that I dont have a job. There was a time when I had almost got 1, and then this economic recession came in. I dont know how it affects each and every industry. There is one option of changing the industry of work, but after learning so much and coming this far, I am not going to do that. But yeah, on the other hand, my situation is getting more and more alarming day by day. The money in my account is flowing only one way, and that is ‘out’ of the account. Anyways, I have two prospects next week, and I am hoping again. Hope all this patience pays.
I am still waking up late and sometimes this bothers thinking whether i have some sleep disorder or something like that. May be when I will get into a job, then the routine may get organised, but right now, its getting pretty messed up because of this habit of waking up late. I hope all this ends soon.
