After a year of trying I got a job and had my first day of work ever today. I will be earning $8.00 and hour to start off. My first paycheck I will have some fun with but after that I will buckle down and save the mojority of. I have various things I am saving for including a computer, a trip to Europe, I trip to New Mexico, A motorcycle, and a few other things mostly vacations. I have a long list of places I want to go and though I don’t have to go everywhere now I do want to get a start on saving; especially for the many international trips. I am interested in starting another savings account for long term savings and I might invest in a mutual fund but I can’t decide because the market is really bad right now- but I guess that is good for buying as long as you’re smart about what you invest in!

How I did it: I found some really awesome and helpful yoga videos on Amazon.com and have been doing a yoga session every night since! I've now come to the point where I can do it without a video and have even memorized some of the repetitions and the names of certian moves. It is a really relaxing and life-enhancing hobby, I will certainly continue! Read how I did it…
How I did it: I heard that my local theatre was playing the movie "A Christmas Carol" in 3D so me and some friends went to see it. I was really excited until about halfway through when all the flying scenes in 3D started making me feel dizzy and sick. We walked out partway through.I would love to watch another 3D movie but something more gentle. My brother saw 'Monsters vs. Aliens' in 3D and he said it was not half as sickness-inducing! How I did it: I've always been fascinated by Greenland so when my brother sent me the book "This Cold Heaven" I was really excited! Well, it's a very slow moving book. I stopped reading it partway through and although I fully intended to pick it back up again it took me almost half a year to even crack the cover. So when I got a job It was my resolution to read some on every break. It helped pass the time in a sane manner and I finished the second half… Read how I did it…

I have decided now that I would rather do something in the fashion or culinary genre. Art is great but way harder to get into and I really love both fashion and culinary so I am changing my direction a tad bit. However if I really wanted to be technical about it a lot of fashion schools have art classes as well so I guess that counts! =p
I was at the State Fair and saw a little ear piercing stand and sat down and got them done. I got little emeralds in them which are so pretty! I can’t take them out for 3-4 weeks and it is suggested that I wait 6 months to change them but I will probably just wait about two months which is what some of my sisters have done. I am very happy with them and am excited that I FINALLY got them done.
Now for the cartalidge!
