I think the money goes to the beauty saloons; fixing nails, straightening out the hair, removing hair ;)

How I did it: I started by downloading the Pimsleur lessons, making up silly conversations every day using my new skills, and getting them corrected by people I met on orkut and msn. After a while, with the help of google translator, I could chat with people that only knew portuguese. My love for their culture kept me going. How I did it: Im a programmer and it was actually my boss that suggested I worked on distance from Brazil (my land of dreams) for a somewhat reduced salary plus no "office cost" for him. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Some I bought on travels, others on the Internet. Two I got from friends. The maneirão, put a keep are you, and filho da PUMA I designed myself in an online store. They all costed around 30-40 usd.. one was $170 (can you guess which?). And what text or motive would you put on your t-shirt? Read how I did it…

I went to the book market at Largo do Machado this sunday and picked up a dictionary and a book called O Melhor das Comédias da Vida Privada by Luis Fernando Verissimo.. I dont’ know much about it other than it being a collection of short stories and that a guy in a book shop said it was funny.. just in case I also picked up a Mônica; a comic book for kids :)
yesterday I got spam on how to get 250 business cards for almost nothing.. I designed my card on their site and in the end the hidden costs were up to $70.. that sucked!! Not that I need any cards, but I was too irritated to give up.. so I googled another site that offers 100 free cards.. and now Im eagerly awaiting to see how these “no budget” cards turn out :)
