She invited me to visit her on Christmas Eve but I think of Christmas as being for family only so I didn’t go. She invited me again to have lunch with her and her mother on new year’s day but I decided not to go because it was far away and I don’t feel comfortable meeting her mother when I have only been out with her a few times.

When I got back to work I walked past her desk without saying hello because I was on my way to a meeting and later she phoned me and started threatening me because I didn’t say hello. I don’t like being threatened like that so I just said bye and we haven’t really spoken since then except for work related stuff.

At my age I am a lot less interested in women than when I was younger. They seem like more of a liability at this stage and I am happy to just be single for the rest of my life.

She now works in an office closer to mine and I see her almost every day. It would be nice to go out with her again but I think that opportunity has passed.

I only have 2 books outstanding to finish reading which are:
1. Wealth of Nations
2. Dictionary of Languages (I am half way)

I tried to schedule half an hour every week day for reading but I haven’t been able to get round to it much although it has helped a little.

I took some time over the holidays at the end of last year to start making simple games for practice. I first made a 0s and Xs game in ASP.NET.

I then started working on a Tetris game in html5 and javascript. So far I have managed to draw the pieces and get them to drop. My holiday ended after that and I haven’t felt motivated enough since then but I am happy with my attempts and I plan on finishing the Tetris game eventually.
