so we are playing university of texas el-paso. we scored just 82 in 25 overs. they have this awesome batsman called lopez. though we keep getting wickets, he keeps them in the game. so they need 3 runs to win and they have 3 wickets in hand and i am the bowler. lopez is in the non-strikers end. first ball was a dot ball. second ball a single. lopez on strike with 2 balls to go. i have him caught at mid wicket. next batsman i get him first ball lbw. and in comes number 11. looks like he cant hold a bat. i think my time has come to finish this dream. and then wat happens…
i set the field in. 4th ball wide down leg. so one run needed with one wicket. atleast i can get a tie. 5th ball wide on off-side. match over. we lose. i dont think i can bowl two such wides even if i want to. my dream is still unfulfilled.
