I’m going to Toronto to visit my wife’s family over Christmas. It’s freezing, so we won’t be going out much. I’ve downloaded Dive Into Python and ActiveState Python to my laptop. Maybe by the time I get back I’ll be a Python programmer?

I submitted a request for company funding two weeks ago and haven’t heard anything yet. I wish I knew whether they would pay or not, because I might just pay for it myself.

I’ve assumed for a long while that I would get a tablet PC. But one day I was struggling with Windows again and it just hit me that I don’t want to bring another Windows machine into the world. A mac is next for me. Soon.
