The week before I had done pretty well on the flights. With my husband next to me, I feel pretty safe anywhere and the pills my MD gave me were and added relif. On the return flight which was the longest leg of the entire round trip (Houston to Las Vegas) the flight was so booked we were unable to sit together. I sat by a nice couple who needed the third seat for comfort. Adding their girth and my fluffy self to the row made for cramped seating. My husband was so far away from me I could not even see him. I felt like I was flying alone, the pills barely took the edge off, I did not sleep, in fact I was so nervous with the turbulance we experienced that I sat and cried the first hour of the flight. Next time, we will not spend so much time with the family, we will rush to the gate so that we can be first in line and insure we are sitting together so I don’t have the fearfulness again.

In Sept. 05 my husband and I went to Houston. We had been planning on visiting family for months and I was freaking out about the plane ride so the week before we left I went to my MD and he gave me a RX for Ativan to help calm my nerves. Before we boarded the flight I took one pill and did pretty good with my husband next to me. During our layover I was getting very nervous just sitting there for hours so I took another pill, I ended up sleeping from right after we took off to just as they were put on the fasten seat belt sign. The pills worked great. I was not nervous, and I had a great sleep before we landed I was even looking forward to our return flight the following week, at least I was until we got the airport.
I want to keep my house clean enough to have anyone over at anytime. I don’t want to worry about telling people they can’t visit because I think the house is dirty or feel guilty when people stop by and it’s messy. I need to get more motivated to clean when I am working. When I did not work for 3 months I would clean the house ever day, dishes by hand, all the laundry from the day before done the next day, all the beds were made, the bathrooms were spotless, the trash was taken out twice a day and dinner was made. Now, I work the Evening 3- 11:30p.m. shift and I can not even do the dishes in the dish washer more than once or twice a week. I have to take a day off work just to clean the house. Once a month before we go away, I will try to go from top to bottom so I don’t feel so guilty about going away and leaving such a mess but I am going to run out of vacation time soon.
