Okay.. so i got my cartilage pierced five months ago the 29th. im not goin to lie and say it didnt hurt, because it hurt like a bitch. BUT at the same time, the pliers had slipped when the lady was putting the ring in, so that may have contributed to the pain. Some people may comment saying its not worth it, and well if it had gotten infected, or it was tender (which is most times a sign of infection) it means 8 times outta 10, you did not take care of it. I would say get it if you truly want to, because due to the position of it on your ear.. depending on wether you get a ring or a stud, it is most times under alot of hair, and if you are sweating alot, the piercing will most likely get infected if not taken care of. It is definately not something to screw around with, because it is very prone to infection, as i had experienced, and as well as a bunch of my friends, but afterwards, most times it looks great, and as long as you can put up with the pain for the first dayish, dont worry about it

ive wanted one done for a few months now, and well.. my parents were less then thrilled when they had first heard about it. And of course, the stupid laws prevent me from getting anything done without parent permission. BUT lucky for me, i finally convinced my father, and he convinced my mum last night. I got it pierced about 3 hours ago, and the only really painful one was the bottom. The one problem-like thing is that the person who did it didnt use the bar bell, but two 16 gauge rings, but lined them up perfectly… hopefully nothing goes wrong

i wanna get my lip pierced, and i have for a while now. Last week i convinced my dad to let me get it done, but on the condition tht my mom lets me. She says i shouldnt, because she asked around and this one girl she works with said that everyone she knows that has had it done has only gotten infections from it.

I originally was going to get my lip and eyebrow pierced a few days before school is out, but i decided to get one sometime over march break and the other for grad… I need some help trying to win my parents over… ne1 got ne tips???
