I quit smoking! I can’t even begin to express how much better I feel. The first few days are really difficult but once you hit about 8 or 9 days it’s as though a fog lifts and you realize how much your body has changed and how much healthier you feel already. Remember to drink plenty of water and get lots of rest, you really do need it as your body is going through a major healing process. Read all of the literature you can so that you fully understand why you are quitting and the changes that are happening inside of your body, it will help to strengthen your resolve when you feel like you can manage “just one cigarette”. Remember that quitting is an ongoing process and you need to celebrate every day as a victory.
