I have to say I am getting close. But the dirty little secret of the writing world it this….once you actually write the darn book, getting it ready to go to the agent/publisher is oh so much worse. There are synopses, and bios and queries OH MY! It is a never ending list of must dos and the worst part is nobody can agree on what they want…One agent wants the first 5 pages one wants the first three chapters, one wants a 10 page synopsis and the next a 2 paragraph one. So you have to be ready for anything at all times.
There that is what you are about to deal with if you are writing a first novel. Don’t want to burst your bubble, but that wonderful feeling of elation that you get when you write those beautiful words THE END…..should come with a tagline….....cause I swear you are only beginning.

I DID IT!!!!

I wrote the most beautiful words in the English language about three weeks ago. THE END – It has now been read by my first reader and the second is now in process. First reader cried at the end of the book. THAT IS HUGE! I love it when people cry.
I was doing a bit of revising as I went along so I actually finished both 1st and 2nd drafts. Now I am on the tweak….and then, out it goes into the big wide world of agents and publishing.
I am so ready for this next part of the goal…..GET MY NOVEL PUBLISHED.
Anyway I can cross one more of the list. Mission accomplished!!!! WOW
