Beat club rocks! 16 months ago

Went to Beat Club with group of friends in June – it was great! Fab music, cheap drinks, friendly people – we will definitely be going again..a regular dance slot – hooray!



LIVE: travel on Settle-Carlisle railway
Been there now 16 months ago

Had to travel to Lancaster last month (see later goal) and when I saw on map how close it was to Settle, I decided to go for it and made arrangements to go on SC railway. It was beautiful and we had a lovely lunch at cafe at one of stations. Not as WOW as some people make out – but then we are spoilt as we live in stunning North Yorkshire!

Baking day 19 months ago

Got busy in the kitchen on Weds (during my week’s leave). I made 3 batches of apple and cinnamon doughnuts – one batch for gurdy colleagues meeting up on Weds afternoon, one batch for Ian & family (thanks for teaching me gurdy) and one batch for Joss and I to munch on over film on Thurs.
