You can do it! 20 months ago

I didn’t start taking Spanish until college, but I’m so glad I did! Besides making a lot of great Latino friends in the US, I’ve also been lucky enough to travel to Mexico, Central America, and Spain.

Now I’ve got a hosting the free daily Spanish lesson podcast at SpanishPod and I’m loving it! Anyway, I’m living proof that you can learn Spanish as an adult! Now I’m working on Mandarin… I’ll let you know how that goes!

The best thing about learning Spanish is hanging out with Latinos… and eating with them.

There are a lot of learn-by-podcast programs out there; I just started one. It’s SpanishPod and I hope you all check it out.

I love Gospel Choir 3 years ago

I used to sing in with Shades of Praise in Seattle. I’d love to compose for and direct a big Gospel choir again, but I’d settle for just singing baritone… as long as there’s a lot of singing, and minimal gossip/politics.
