How I did it: Researched the Boulder real estate market online and property values . Looked at our finances carefully to determine if we could afford to buy. Checked out the rental market, found a good realtor, and asked around about neighborhoods and what the downsides might be. Everything worked out! Read how I did it…
Today while I was on my way to do my weekly grocery shopping, I drove by a charitable organization that keeps a pantry for families in need. They print items that they need out front on a big whiteboard, so I was able to add a few things that were on their list to my own. While I was at the store, I also bought one or two more units of stuff I was buying for myself to give away. I figure if I like it, someone else will, too.
