How I did it
How I did it: First, I finally admitted it to myself. I grew up in an extremely heteronormative environment in small town Texas, and it took some time to figure everything out. I'd always felt different, but it wasn't until I moved to New York that I put everything together. I met a lot of GLBQT folks in NYC, and we hung out.
