Well since I made my goal I have paid off one store card another only has 3 month payments left. I had x2 Credit Cards and a LOC. I have canceled one of the cards and added the balance to the lower interest LOC.

So currently I have and LOC
1 Store card with a small balance and
1 Credit Card (high interest)

plus my Mortgage but hey I have to live somewhere. To rent in my way of thinking is like dropping money in the ocean.

Well since I set up this goal I’ve started my own SDRSP (Self Directed RSP). I am truly proud because I never really made any money from any advisore out there. There always are hidden fees and such. Now I control everything! Good and Bad.

I’ve decided that for now until my accounts are larger that I will be investing in a diversified, by geography, index portfolio similar the Money sense couch potato portfolio.

As a side note: I have increased my portfolio by 4.85% since September 2006. Plus I have added a bit of money to what I started with.

I have also been reading alot of blogs online. I’m learning alot but really need to wait until I have about $2000 to start the next phase of my plan.

Well, I’m on my way. I have my account which I pay the bills and I have not touched it for anything. I am still on track to pay my largest interest bill off in the new year. Since summer has always been a spending money time for me I think I’m gona make it.
