My roommate and I share a PC. If I use Firefox on my profile, can he still use IE on his or will Firefox become the default browser on this machine? He’ll freak without IE. He’s worried about, well… everything really. Any help with that?

I’m 28 and working a job that’s pointless outside of the paycheck. I’ve always enjoyed writing and seem to be rather good at it but I don’t know even know where to start in looking for a way into the field. I don’t think I have the patience for writing a book (I’ve tried and so far nothing) so I guess that leaves me writing for a magazine, newspaper or website. And again, I wouldn’t even know where to start! Anyone have any suggestions???

I have no need to become filthy rich. But I’d like to live comfortably. Not staring at my checkbook constantly, wondering if I can really afford to go out to dinner tonight. Things like that. Just enough so I can relax a little and start to enjoy myself a bit.
