Update on my Quest

So far I’ve lost 50 lbs. I’m half way to my 100 lbs goal. Although I still have more to go after that, I am making good progress. I figured out a diet and exercise routine that works well for me. It’s not too difficult and it’s easy to maintain.

Buy a House
Why buy a house you say?

The housing market is at its lowest in the last 30 years; a great time for first time or investor home buyers. I was pleased to find that many mortgages are significantly less than most rental properties. So why not buy?
First challenge is getting someone to loan money. Because I am a business owner getting a loan is a bit tricky. Fortunately our credit is good and income sufficient but, of course, proving income has been a headache. Once past the approval process comes the fun part, scoping out potential dwellings.
We (my husband and I) decided on a condo. Despite the Home Owners Association, which is wildly popular in the Phoenix Metro area, we would not be responsible to out side maintenance and besides, we can have luxuries that our schedule would not support otherwise.
After looking at serveral properties, we found the one. Made an offer and… no go. The OTHER realitor is being a butt. Forget it. we wait, wait, wait, and… another one even better than the first. We just put in a offer.

get rid of my cell phone
Saving Money Never Felt Good

It feels nice to get rid of my cell phone. Although t my husband still has another month, our cell phone bill went from $170 to $40. YEAH! I know use VoIP on my laptop and 80% of the time there is WiFi where I need to make a call. I even tested this by going on vacation without my cell phone and only using WiFi. I was fine. People, you don’t need a cell phone, we are all over telecommunicated!!
