How I did it: Slowly and steadily, one at a time, counting backwards from 50 until I got to 0.I didn't think about it, I just did it. As soon as I saw this goal on here, I went for it, immediately! How I did it: I started by writing up a brief biography of each of the musicians. Next I listened to a variety of music from each of them. I picked one song from each and then wrote detailed notes on the tone, rhythmic habits, articulation, dynamics, and other features of the music in order to gain a better understanding of each artist's musical personality. How I did it: I dedicated my weekend to this, and when I started feeling stir crazy, I would turn on loud music and dance or do jumping jacks or lunges for a few minutes to get my heart rate up and burn off some excess energy, and then I dived back in. This is the plan, written up in advance:
Breakfast: oatmeal and whey protein
Lunch: salad with chickpeas, olive oil, vinegar; 2-4 egg whites depending on how hungry I am; 1 apple with natural/organic peanut butter
Snack (if needed): bowl of steamed veggies
Dinner: something with protein, vegetables, and whole grains…. maybe stir fry with minimal oil… but I HAVE to eat dinner today! I didn’t eat dinner yesterday and that was ultimately a really bad decision.
