How I did it: I got started on Facebook. After I put in my maiden name some people started finding me, and I found some people! I've reconnected with people I haven't seen for 30 years. What a blessing! Read how I did it…
How I did it: Have an Art Show with another artist (in this case, mother-daughter team) Make arrangements for room to display work. We displayed at the Women's Historical Museum in Lansing, Michigan Decide on concept, color, or theme for cohesiveness of show. We decided on the heritage of women handed down from mother to daughter- visually represented by the design in a quilt that is a family heirloom. Work together often, talk a lot, enlist help… Read how I did it…
How I did it: It was simple, but time consuming. The print shop I used to use went out of business- which is really sad because they were geared more for art than business- and it was the only place close that did gyclee prints, so, I had some of the work scanned at an office supply store- It took way more time than necessary, and some of the work got cut off strangely. I think it might be better to set up at home to do it myself- but my scanner is r… Read how I did it…

I had no IDEA that I have been working on losing 10 pounds for 2 YEARS! I just looked back to see what I was saying when I first started this goal- 2 years ago- Well, I haven’t really lost weight, but I can see a total difference. When I reread my old entries I remember what a battle it was to find the willpower to eat right- now it is 2nd nature. Instead of thinking about all the things I will try to NOT eat, I focus on filling up on nutritional things. I am gluten free now, so I don’t eat wheat. I eat lots of fruits and vegetables. It’s really not so hard- but I haven’t lost weight. I am in less pain than I was 2 years ago. I have really benefitted in that way. I have neck, back, and knee pain- but it is much, much less than it was 2 years ago. I think it is better because of the exercise, and less inflammation from the food I eat. So, there have been definite benefits.
