This fall I’m moving to another city and will try to start a new, simple life from there. I guess I won’t move or buy a lot of things from there for my new home.
I will definitely need my PC and cell phone (when I don’t wish to be called, i just turn Silent Mode on and ignore most of the calls).
I won’t buy a lot of books, except the ones I need for school; music, movies and photos are digital. I’m planning to buy some new clothes and shoes, but not much.
I’m thinking to stop watching TV – I can watch almost everything on my PC, see the news in the Internet and so on.

For now I exercise when I have time, but I want to do it regularly. I’m researching for the best schedule that fits my needs and appointments. I’m planning to start doing the regular exercise in February or March 2008.

I’m trying to live green. For now I usually unplug phone chargers and other appliances, always recycle paper, glass, metals, always shower, even if I had a bath, I won’t use it often. I walk mainly because I don’t have a car and I live in a small city, everything is near. I don’t use energy saving light bulbs (going to use them soon), but a lot of time the lights are off. I have also moved the fridge a little from the wall, so the heat is distracted and less energy is used.
Things I have to work on:
- Buying energy saving light bulbs and replacing the ones I have with them;
- Using less air conditioning for the winter and summer;
- Turn off more appliances at night;
- Start using a compost
