I went to Technical college to learn to be an Interpreter. I didn’t finish my degree, but learned alot! I taught my first daughter to sign at 7 months old. I now have 2 daughters, the second is 7 months old now and just learned how to sign “more”
It is amazing how learning ASL or English Sign Language can make everyones life easier. I have an in home day care and I teach everyone of my kids to sign before they speak. It is AWESOME! Their fave’s are “more” “milk” and “please”.
I love knowing how to sign and encourage everyone to work hard to learn all you can.
I learned the langauge to get a career, instead I gained communication with “my” babies.
