While I wait to hear back I am concentrating on building my experiences both at work and through volunteering positions.

How I did it: I had lots of experience working with kids, and had really enjoyed running educational workshops and shows with them. As time passed, and I changed jobs, I realised I wanted to be doing it all the time. I investigated my options and decided to apply for a PGDE/PGCE course. How I did it: I went to my local council website to put together a list of all schools (and their contact details) in my area. I plotted the location of each school on googlemaps and split the schools into two lists based on proximity to my flat (since I would be giving up a day of work (and hence pay) to do volunteering, ideally the school had to be within walking distance - estimated no more than 45 mins - from my flat to avoid incurring extra costs)… Read how I did it…

Relooked at pattern the other day, not sure if I’d rather go with something chunkier…so still a goal but might switch patterns. In the meantime I have a couple of projects I have been stalling on that I will get stuck into!
