This has been very challenging for me as my natural thought process is always 2 steps ahead of what i’m doing at the moment.I really want and need to SLOW DOWN in everthing I do and appreciate whatever i am doing at the time.Each moment has it’s own joy and i’m missing so much by not thinking about what i’m in the process of doing.My life seems to be hury, hurry and get done to get to the next thing that has to be done.The first thing i’ve done is not having so many “have to’s “each day.Keeping some time for me to relax and think and just be is a huge change for me.

I finally got to the blood bank after procrastinating for 2 months. I feel so good about doing this for so long and helping someone who is is need.I plan to go every 6 weeks and the next time i will be allowed to give is on my birthday. How cool is that !!! I get to give someone the gift of life on the day I was born.
I truly love the Lord and know He is always with me no matter what.I have this habit of trying to take control and forget to let Him lead me.I need to spend more time not just praying but also listening.I love to meditate and pray but i find it hard to really take the time to spend quiet time with Him. I have lots to deal with in my life right now and have been through a lot of pain, but He has helped me through it all.
