My baby girl isn’t much of a baby anymore. She’s almost 16, and growing to be one of the most spectacular humans I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. I adore this kid. the reason achieving this on my list was so important is i gained some valuable insight into her mind from reading her list. I know I’ve done my best every step of the way for her and her brothers. I also know that my best frequently fell short. She deserves more, and yet, she is well adjusted and glad for all she’s had. I am blessed to be her mother. I hope she gets every wish fulfilled, yet, I’m comforted by knowing that if she doesn’t she’ll still be ok. Thank you Ladyvampirica for making a list. I love you, and will always be true to you. You rock, my sweet “bugbutt”. Go conquer the world. I’ll bask in your glow. xoxoxoxo-mammma

When I had my 3rd child, it became apparent early on that he was born with a theme song. It is a variation on an old TV comercial shown on Saturday morns.
ba baba ba
ba baba ba
ba bA baba
He’s a refridgerator raider
We changed it slightly, we call the boy Pookie (poor child, but it fits him well.)
he’s a Pookinatot rator
the best thing about his having a theme is that we’ve used it for all occasion to announce his arrival: into a room, onto a stage, ballfield, out of the bathroom. We see him, burst into song, and everyone smiles. He loves telling people about his theme song. I have one too, more fitting to a me, and when my friends and loved ones see me and are moved to sing it for me, I know that I am truly loved. My song is from the movie “A Star Is Born” it’s called “Queen Bee”.
i definately all people need a theme.
...propagate, in the context of this goal? I want to accelerate the evolution of the English language but I don’t necessarily believe that shorter words have to be the way to go. Are you saying that when we speak we should use the quickest, most succinct possible combinatin of words to convey one’s point?
To me, the evolution of our language should be worded towards proper enunciation and actual use of “root words”. A large vocabulary with flowing, illustrative words would be an example of a possible evolution of our langage, slang and shorthand speak could become extinct , but more slang and shorthand speak could be the other route taken. Is there a right or wrong way to accomplish this, or are we working against one another in pursuit of the same goal with different outcomes? I’ll be pondering…but will i be ignored for my “outdated” venacular?
