Well I went to the gym and set the treadmill on the lowest speed that actually had me running and did manage to do a mile without stopping. So this one goes on the done list. However my new goal will be to run the mile faster.

I took some classes at a local culinary school. They have a professional chef’s school, but also classes for the general public. In just two weekends my cooking improved dramatically. I now understand how to balance flavors and select fresh ingredients to make something truly tasty. I might go back for some additional classes later, but for now I’m calling this one done and moving on to other goals.
A few weeks ago I took one of my horses to a Clinic run by Dennis Wright in Seaside Oregon. It was really good. It was mostly ground work, with a little bareback riding thrown in. Dennis was really good at reading the horses and letting people know how to respond to them. He was also really gentle with the horses. My horse and I really bonded in a way we haven’t before.
