I knew I couldn’t last for long with my Nikon 4500 (the little twisty one) in the shop, after only 5000 shots. So I finally stopped reading reviews and procrastinating and went ahead with a new D70 package, including 28-70 and 70-300 lenses, from Samys. Took it out the past two weekends and am amazed with the results. May have to get myself a better printer. It’s heavy – a boat anchor in fact – but I love the big lens, the manual zoom, and the speed of both instant-on and multi-shot. Am thinking I may sell the long lens tho and get a wide-angle, as I tend to have more use for that.
