If you ever get a chance and have a love for Salvador Dali you must vist Cadaques Spain, the home of Dali where he painted some of his most facinating paintings. The Salvador Dali Museum is in Figueres and it is amazing. Dali also lived in the museum at one time. If you would like to see his home on the water in the sleepy town of Cadaques you will have a difficult time getting there. You can go to Figueres from Barcelona by train and not far from the station is the museum. A true treat though is to see where he spent most of his time and to that you will have to catch a cab. It cost about $60 american dollars from the train station in Figueres and also arrange a way back or you might get stuck there. Another note, do not go in December or January because it is not open. Soak it in and visit the town also if you have a chance it is a true fishing village.

SXSW is the premiere music conference and convention. It will be better than ever this year. This year it is March 9 through March 18, 2007. If you are in music, film, or writing this is the place to be.
