i moved hello to the green litter kwitter disc yesterday but moved her back to the intermediate green when she couldn’t figure out how to position herself on it last night. we are making some progress with the positioning. i get 1 paw up on the white seat sometimes and a back paw on the same side of the hole now. things are looking up. i’ll try to post a video on my blog tomorrow.
i moved mimmy’s litter container directly into the toilet last night and she has used it once so far.
fyi, i started a kitty toilet training discussion forum on my website for me and the other trainers/friends that i have met so far on this journey. we are all using different methods and some of us are almost done. stop by and ask a question if you have one.

well, i can’t believe it, but i adopted another cat. i’ve named her mimmy and she is 1 y.o. white scottish fold. mimmy & hello are being separated right now until her second FIV test in 55 some odd days. her first test came back negative, but i want to be sure she is okay before i expose them to each other. by the way, the disbelief isn’t that i adopted a second cat, but i did so knowing that i would have to start toilet training all over again! what did i get myself into!
check my blog for photos of mimmy and to see how toilet training preparations are going: http://www.freewebs.com/myhellokitten/pottytrainingblog.htm

holding it in
hello is doing fine with training, but i was giving her a heaping tablespoon of canned pumpkin with breakfast every morning to keep her regular with #2s. i ran out the past few days and now she poos very irregularly. she skipped going yesterday all together (so she held it in for over 24 hours). i’m going to get more pumpkin today, but this is showing me that she is still experiencing some stress over the amber disc. i was planning to give her 3 full weeks on the amber stage, we still have 8 days left to go and then i’ll reassess to see if she needs more time before moving on.
