Made the call!

I’ve made the call, but it will be a couple of weeks before the cable is actually shut off—we’re cancelling our phone service, too, and they’ll only do them at the same time. It feels liberating to know that I won’t be sucked into watching crap when I should be doing something else, like reading!

be a voiceover for a cartoon
I was "Fizz" on Squigglevision!

I actually got to be a voice on a Saturday morning cartoon! I was working for an educational software company (Tom Snyder Productions) that also produced television. I used to walk around mimicking one of the characters (Fizz) from our software. When they added Fizz to the Saturday morning cartoon they were producing (Science Court / Squigglevision), I got to play the part!

Goal: 20 Countries in 20 Years

My partner and I want to go to 20 countries in 20 years. We started with Canada, because it was easy. We went to Quebec City for a Christmas vacation in December 2005. Still working on the list of the other 19 countries.
