It’s currently impossible for me to do this… but it’s always fun to try. There are lots of smart people who put effort into factoring prime numbers… and I find it interesting, and I always learn something with each attempt. I usually end up back here about once every 2 years.
The Nikon Coolpix 995 can be had for about $350 on Ebay these days… it’ll focus to within less than an inch! The resulting photos are amazing.
Newer, higher-resolution cameras just can’t get as close. Get some cardboard, and make a viewing tube to be able to see the monitor in the bright sun, and you’ll quite happy with it.
