I’ve sort of finished my program, and have returned to the States to finalize my project. London was cool, but the bureaucracy was ridiculously annoying the majority of the time. I grew very unhappy because I was there and jobless, but, it was a learning experience. And overall i did have a great time. I was in London since January 07, and returned at the beginning of March this year. It took me six months to lose the glamour, to see the City as it was and another few months to pick myself up and focus on school and not the finances. I was able to see the city and enjoy myself, because I eventually realized that money isn’t necessary to enjoy yourself when you have good company. It helps, though.

My one piece of advice is save as much money as you possibly can before quitting your job and crossing the pond. It’s great but really, Really, expensive.
