it helps to have a nice bendy straw. I purchased a nice glass that’s pretty and makes me smile, and a pack of colourful bendy straws. somehow it’s easier to drink water more often with this combination :)

My friend Rachael and I managed to do a photo project long distance, with her being in Vancouver while I was in Zhuhai. I named the project on my end, Across the Distances.
last year before the move from Zhuhai to Singapore, I managed to get started on a few oil paintings, it felt good. Now that I’ve moved back to Vancouver, once I get settled again, I will look to start painting again, I think it’s therapeutic on a sub-conscious level. The hardest part of getting started was to not worry about what I was going to paint, just start with a stroke or a dab and go with it.
