To speak the language of romance and my future life... 16 months ago

I can’t remember when, but since my teens at least, I’ve had a love for Italy and Spain. In my late 20’s it started became more focused on Italy, even my cooking… and now it’s where I want to be, even though I have never been, well at least not in this life time… that’s another story for another time.

My partner and I decided that it would be somewhere we go when we are a bit older and hopefully more financially independent, so that we can enjoy traveling and exploring. So for now, I have many years to learn at least some conversational Italian in preparation.

OK, so I looked around for courses, and now there’s only one school in my area that offers it, and it is now moved to during the day, while I have to work! sigh maybe next semester they will change it back to being on the weekends…

Automatic Savings 2 years ago

This spring, I set up an automatic withdrawal savings through my ING account. It’s fab, set to automatically take out $200 bi-weekly from my chequing account (where I deposit my paycheque), and straight into my savings. The bonus is that ING is going raise the interest rates, so even more money for me. Yay!!
