How I did it: Well, my cousin and I have been planning a backpacking trip to Europe as long as we can remember. We're best friends and decided since a huge part of our future plans are travelling we wanted to show our Canadian pride and always remember where we came from - plus we wanted it on our feet to symbolize travelling. How I did it: Well, I worked ALL summer - at a summer camp for the city. I didn't get paid until the very VERY last day - so I ended up with a large wad of cash. That was good, because I'd have definitely spent most of it if I'd had it myself. My boyfriend and I drove to the bus station and bought advanced tickets - $200 there and back..not bad. How I did it: Well, I went to my little local corner store, and bought one. I live in Ontario, and there are loads of lotteries. Therefore, I asked the teller all about it, and made a fool of myself. I got ID'd even though I've been of age for quite some time.
