How I did it: I decided cursing made me sound like an uneducated idiot, so be done with it.Plus i didn't curse in front of family, so it was sort of a hipocracy, being a different person to different groups. So I said "God this stops now" And for about a year, words would slip out when i was really angry or frustrated or even happy, but i was aware and replaced them, and now in anger i yell, "OHHHHH mother face of pooo!!!!" Definately not as menacing, … Read how I did it…
How I did it: I really wanted a job, i wanted to work, and not be a financial burden, all through highschool i wished i could work, and when i finally did. I loved it. I love being able to spend my money and not be a burden on the family. But now I want THE job, not just A job. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I asked myself "why do IB?"Because I want to be a person of the world, therefore my education should be able to keep up.And with this answer I didn't party as much as most in high school, i studied way more than most, and I wrote essays thousands of words long, researched at a level many do not do until graduate school. It's hard, I repeat IB is not easy, but if you know you want it for yourself then you can do it. I took many years, and I finally got my license in a different country from where I originally got my Learners, but I finally did it.
I still sit in the car and get giddy over the fact that I can now go wherever I want.
It’s a wonderful feeling of independence and freedom.
started taking tae-kwon-do in the US, got to my brown belt, I was two tests away from black and we relocated to Australia. In the meantime, the olympics came along, and they decided to put tae-kwon-do in there but not traditional tkd, so when we got to Australia, most schools were teaching the modern version, and so i started that from WHITE BELT, and now I am at blue belt and I calculate if I don’t miss a single test, I should be going for my black belt in 2011…finally!
