I have signed up to a 7km run, my first fitness challenge of the year. Yesterday I did my ‘short run’ route without stopping, great feeling. Have 3 weeks to go until the 7k, lots more to do between now and then!



drink less
this means 10 months ago

Here I just mean, not necessarily LESS, but in moderation, and for pleasure, not for “getting drunk”... drinking wine I enjoy, a cold beer, nothing wrong with all of that, just leave aside the nights out in town which I don’t even enjoy that much and leave you in bed the whole of the next day!

starting afresh 11 months ago

I am starting over with this goal. Have made myself a flashy excel spreadsheet and we’ll see where we go with that. At least to record what I spend and see where it is all going might help. I want to start saving again this year, as I haven’t saved at all in the last 6 months or so. Mainly I think I need to keep busy doing the things I love as then I am busy and not get sucked into shops and sales and things things things. Interests not things. People and relationships, not things!
