We had another couple look at the house the day after the soldier’s contract feel thru and they made an offer. We had to go back and forth a few times to get it at a price we were comfortable with and then they paid for an appraisal and an inspection (about $600 out of their pockets) and then they decided to back out for “Personal Reasons.” We were finally told that the personal reasons were that they are not married and the girl had decided she would rather buy the house under just her name instead of under his and hers. She went on vacation and will be back tomorrow and is supposed to get another contract going with just her name…as long as she can get the loan. She works at a bank so hopefully that won’t be to hard…but we will wait and see. Selling a house is frustrating….I’m so ready to mark this goal off my list!!!

How I did it: I put some of my stuff in garage sales when my Mother-in-law had one and when had one to raise money for mine & Jodie's Jazzercise Workshop. Moving is helping a lot of with this goal. Things that I dont have to have are staying at the old place for one more big garage sale. Then what isn't sold will go on freecycle or Salvation Army. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Very Easy! Just dont go...I shop at other grociery stores around and get everything else at shops arounds. We shop at Kroger, Brookshires and CVS instead. For homedecor type of stuff I just go to shops owned by local residents. You do have to seek out a few things but its worth it!! Look for Fair Trade items when it comes to your home decor! The only problem I run into is buying gifts for my niece and nephew.… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Every morning I got on and used all my cheers and then once more before I left work. Sometimes I cheered just to cheer, but most times I only cheered goals I really liked or really thought that someone should follow through with!! It may have been more encouraging for me than for the person that got my cheer but it was a nice feeling to encourage someone to keep with their goals! Read how I did it…

All the money I saved up for the Vespa ended up going to the Home Depot credit card. We had stuff we had to get done at the loft before I can get the Vespa. Once we get moved and get most of the remodeling done then I can concentrate on this goal….but for now it has to go on the back burner.
