This was practical for me, as I have no buss routes or any type of transportation to and from town from where I live - and not to mention my town isn’t one a girl should be walking around alone in. It’s expensive to drive with my insurance, gas, repairs, and everything.. but it’s always worth it to know how to drive, and then if you need to you can.
