Want to do this?

Acquire all the songs from Ferris Bueller's Day Off
No Soundtrack

This movie was the first movie I ever saw that made me go, “hey, I’d really like to have that soundtrack.” And, of course, there was no soundtrack. Ironically enough, John Hughes supposedly didn’t release one because he didn’t feel it was commercial enough. Well, I certainly would’ve bought it then (imagine, someone actually passed up the chance to make a buck on teenagers. That’s the ‘80s for you, I guess). Now, all these many years later, I still want those songs. But since they were so obscure, they aren’t easy to find (not hard, of course, is this day of the Internet, but not easy). So, the quest continues…

Become fluent in more than one language
But which ones?

I’ve spent many years studying French, German and Korean, but am fluent in none. I’d like to study Arabic and, what else? Chinese! And once I’ve mastered (ha!) Korean, I may as well add Japanese. And Russians have the best accents, so Russian, too. I pretty much want to become fluent in the languages of all the countries I want to travel to which means… I’ve got a lot of studying to do…
